Our Story

Kevin Andersen
Founder / Director
Rubbish is never-ending. We take the hassle away from our customers and do so at a superior level of service that earns us customers for life.

Wheelie Bin Services are a locally owned and operated company that has been operating in the Waikato since 1996. From humble beginnings, Wheelie Bin Services was founded by Matamata local Kevin Andersen who came from a farming background and understood some of the waste removal challenges facing farmers. Townies had been dealing with black rubbish bags for years, Kev saw Wheelie Bins as a more convenient solution to solve waste removal problems for both townies and farmers, and with the support of his wife and kids Wheelie Bin Services was born.

From the outset Wheelie Bin Services has prided itself on providing an exceptional service to our customers. We go the extra mile with a bin cleaning service after every empty, using our unique water blasters that are attached to each truck, giving our customers clean and hygienic bins, and a level of flexibility that can only be delivered by a family run business. We really look after our customers which has been the main driver for our growth and success, as we have organically expanded from the core towns of Matamata and Morrinsville across much of the Eastern Waikato region.
